From humble beginnings on 1 April 1993, with a staff compliment of only six, to 1 April 2018 with a staff compliment of 542, Diesel Electric Services has been serving its customers and providing real value to its chosen markets.
The company says its success can be contributed to hard work, experience, customer service, open lines of communication, attention to detail, product innovation and manufacturing efficiencies to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services. The company originally sold and serviced diesel generators only, but subsequently diversified into new lines of business with offerings in turnkey electrical power generation solutions. This diversification has strengthened the company’s existing business and enhanced its value proposition.
The company’s MD, Kevin Donaldson, said that the 25th anniversary was a proud moment and an amazing achievement to attain. He extended his sincere thanks to his staff as well as to the company’s suppliers and customers for their loyal support over the years.
He said that although much has been accomplished over the years, there is so much more still to do and to learn. The pace of innovation has increased and business has become more demanding. He said that the company, which is mature and reputable, had come through a year full of both victories and challenges, and that he is looking forward to seeing all the great things the company will accomplish in the coming years. The company looks back on an impressive record of achievements and its ambition is to continue along this path using existing technologies more intelligently and to introduce more efficient and innovative designs which offer reliable cost effective solutions to its growing client base.
