The farm prides themselves in practicing regenerative farming on a section of the organically certified wine farm. Part of the regenerative farming includes moving livestock to different areas of the farm regularly to allow the environment to recover.
The farm earned R204 000 from their carbon credits, half going towards the workers and half going towards the farm. An average of R4000 was given to each worker, with those managing the cattle component receiving a larger portion.
