They review what we say publicly, challenge the rigour of our methodologies, and ensure our registry operations remain a genuine benchmark for the African voluntary carbon market.

Every Credible Carbon methodology must pass independent technical review. Board members assess additionality tests, baseline assumptions, and quantification approaches before a methodology is published or updated.
From issuance to retirement, the board provides oversight of registry governance — ensuring our serial number system, audit trail, and transparency commitments are upheld in practice, not just on paper.
